My new equipment for YouTube videos.

I love YouTube but it takes well to much time ,to set up lights, camera , outfit and makeup .Especially when you can’t find anyone to help you film.Blogging so much easier. And there’s not much money in YouTube if you don’t have tons of subscribers and views. But it’s a fun hobby.I started a new fashion YouTube channel.Got a new camera Sony W830 and photography lights .And I am excited again.

I want too do a sewing video  and outfit video for my new channel so watch this space.

Riding a bike is only for the brave !

Riding a bike in Manchester is a nightmare, you have to fight for a space everyday. The cycling policy in England is a terrible one. Several governments over the decades have ignored the needs of cyclists and have done there best, to make the bike go the way of the horse and cart.

The culture on the roads in England is a fast paced culture ,very aggressive and.everyone is in a rush .And no one cares for the slower road users like bicycles. Its a truthfully scary experience.I hate riding my bike on there road here, as I’m scared of being knocked over.A cyclist is rarely give enough room on the road and motorists drive to close and to fast to a bicycle user. Below is an example of no room being left for me to cycle through in Manchester city centre. This regularly happens daily to me.

Manchester City Centre gridlock roads

I have no idea if the car industry has a huge lobbying group in UK Parliament but the roads are exclusively design around motor traffic.Unless you live in the student area and there will be some cycle paths there .But lets face it most of the UK population cant live in a student area.

You have to be very brave and have nerves of steel to cycle in the Uk .I love cycling in general and regularly ignore the law that says cycling on the pavement is illegal. As the road is so dangerous.Plus the police never in force the law as they know the UK roads are dangerous.

We cyclists have been designed off the road here.We aint seen as valid form of transport and car drivers ,buses and van rivers regularly try and run you off the road. I moved in 2011 to Netherlands just to ride my bike in peace .And miss it a lot.

I hope things will change but change comes slow in the UK.

When I compare cycling in Germany to here its so much better in Germany .There women are classic and dress fashionable when riding a bike.Theres rarely Lycra in sight .Plus the road infrastructure well better.

Below is a German lady cycling in a leather jacket with her leather handbag in a basket at the back of the bike.Looking Uber fashionable. Its in a city called Mönchengladbach. It would be weird to see a women dress like that in Manchester on a bike with are terrible bicycle infrastructure .She looks amazing chic.

German Lady cycling

When is Greater Manchester going to get its act together cycling wise? We are well behind the Dutch ,Danish ,Swedish and Germans when it comes to integrating bikes into the transport system.

In Germany they also have better more comfortable bicycles which are a lot cheaper then here to buy.And come in a ray of colours and different sizes too. Here’s a lovely pink grandma bike I spotted in Mönchengladbach .I had to take a quick picture of it.I so wish I had a pink bike like this one.Its a Dutch bicycle. Its called Den Hagg

Here’s a pic of me cycling on my dutch bike with my pink tights. Its all about the fashion for me.This is a German cycle path too in a small town in Germany

No Lycra in sight.I will do more cycle and fashion posts in the future.

Fake nails by Bodycare

I am a firm believer in faking it until you make it beauty wise.I buy fake hair, fake lashes, fake nails etc.And one thing I love the look of is fake nails. Especially since there cheap and come in a ray of colours.

I came across a cheap packet from Bodycare for£1.50.There French Manicure with a bit of a baby pink tint too them and there lovely.

To put them on.I filed my nail bed down a bit to make my nail bed rough, so the glue has something to bond too.And I put them on a night so the glue has time to dry.I would personally say, try buying another set of glue.As the glue that comes in the package isn’t that great and one or two of the nails have popped off and I have lost them when I have been out and about.

There 24 in packet and there called Body Collection 24 Pink French pearl, there a bargain folks. They look super elegant and classy.

There’s also a lot cheaper then gel nails at the salon especially when your a job seeker like me.On a teeny weeny budget of £73.00 week to live on.

Just because your unemployed doesn’t meant you shouldn’t take care of yourself.

Afro hair and racial discrimination in UK

Well folks its seems racism is alive and well in UK.Its so fucking upsetting .I am so fed up of this shit happening ,time and time again. Knowing most of my black British friends are unemployed like me.

And watching white Britons ignore  white supremacy aka racism.Like its not a problem.Drives me crazy.

Recently Black British lady went for an interview with a high end store called Harrods and she was told ,she would only get the job if she chemically straighten her hair.

Its just disgusting, how black people with curly hair are treated in Britain.White Britons say black Britons dont want to work .But they dont want to employed us .The government ignore racism ,pressure black folk to get work .While ignoring the fact that white folk dont want to give black women or black men jobs.As well as muslims wearing Hijab.

Britain is my home but I just dont feel welcome anymore.I am seriously looking forward to moving abroad.Cant wait to visit Africa and be in a country there black people are the majority .And there they dont feel threaten by an afro.

My Canon film SLR Camera EOS 750.

This is my SLR film camera I brought about two years ago because I couldn’t afford a Digital one.Its a little gem and dirty cheap. Its quite fun to use too. It was about £45 including the lens. It’s quite heavy though but I am sure it will take beautiful photos.

I usually surf the internet to learn more about film photography,as I am not a fan of reading books about photography. I am more of an visual learner.I have watched a lot of YouTube videos about film photography recently.

I have a old 35mm film that needs developing and apparently it’s cheaper to develop the film yourself. But I will leave that for now and just pop too Boots for now.

I enjoy playing with the camera ,it looks so like DSLR camera.I also have a Nikon D5100 but I have no lens for it.I am saving the pennies to get a lens for my Nikon camera.I hope to buy a small film SLR Camera as the 750 eos is too heavy around alot. But that will be later. I will update my blog with the pictures soon.I hope to take some fashion photography ones when I find someone to help me take the photos.

Manchester Blogging Scene

Is it just me or is there no blogging scene in Manchester.I joined Manchester Bloggers to meet people who were into blogging .I arrange to meet a girl for a photo shoot ,only to be stood up and the girl ignore my calls. It wouldn’t be so bad, if the girl wasn’t the ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GROUP.But its really annoying. No apologise plus there’s no meet ups for photo shoots.I have ask but don’t get a answer.

I don’t have many friends and it would be nice to meet people who like blogging .Also people who love fashion, food and cycling.BUT IT’S HOPELESSLY.Life only seems to happen if you live in LONDON.In the UK.

Its so strange as BOOHOO and MISSGUIDED some of the most popular high street fashion brands are based in MANCHESTER. But nothing seems to be happening blogging wise in relation to fashion.

The only group that seems like fun is BLACK BRITISH BLOGGERS.The group is very active and I enjoy being in the group. But its for the UK.And meet ups will probably be in London. EYE ROLL.

UK economy is so unbalanced LONDON is the engine and most things happened in London .And the rest of the UK gets left out. This is one of the reasons people voted Brexit ,as a lot of people especially up north are left out.

On of the most popular manchester blogger Intheflow hit it big and moved to London. And that’s the story most of the time. Not much happens up north.I ain’t planning on moving to London and I just hope Manchester changes some time soon.
